Santa Rosa Clean Sweep

Yard Work Group

"Santa Rosa Community Clean Sweep is an organization of community volunteers that come together to lend a helping hand to our neighbors in need. We concentrate on individuals that are disabled, elderly, single, veterans and those who have received citations. There are many people throughout Santa Rosa County that need a helping hand with yard work or debris removal. Over 50+ citations are served to Santa Rosa residents every month! Some are unfortunate and are not physically able to complete these tasks. We will unite a group of volunteers to help these individuals in need. Join us and make a positive change in our community."

Location: Santa Rosa County (Location Varies by Event)

Types of Work: Yard Word for the Disabled, Elderly, and Veterans

Drop in or Scheduled: Drop in

Minimum age: Younger than 14 with adult

Volunteer Skills: Willingness to work, and Not afraid of dirt

No-Kill Cat Shelter

" If you choose to give of yourself two or three hours per week, SOCKS could use your help." 

    " We need volunteers to help clean the cat and kitten shelter. The ideal volunteer time period would be 9 a.m. to noon weekdays, but we can use help each day until we close at 5 p.m. After an orientation, you will help create and maintain a clean, healthy environment for the cats and kittens, as well as a more pleasant place for visitors, increasing the chances of adoption for our furry residents. "

"The role of volunteers at Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center is extremely important. As NBSTCC volunteers, you will create a link between the public and our conservation efforts through education and research".
